BAMMA has today announced a lightweight co-main event for BAMMA 33 as Ryan Scope vs Mickael Lebout has been added to the fight card.
BAMMA 33 will be held at the Metro Arena, Newcastle on the 15th December 2017.
BAMMA announced the contest via a press release on Thursday morning.
“After a bumper 2017, we look forward to signing off the year with a massive event. Some familiar BAMMA faces alongside some exciting new signings will bring a night of top-flight MMA to the always appreciative, noisy Newcastle crowd. If the way the shows have been building already this year is anything to go by, this will be one to enjoy” – David Green BAMMA CEO
Following a ten-fight winning streak which included eight finishes inside the distance, Scope suffered his first professional loss last time out. In a welterweight title bout at M4TC 23: Carnage, Scope suffered a submission loss to Welshman Lewis Long.
After a brief stint with the UFC and back-to-back losses since leaving the promotion, Mickael Lebout has had somewhat of a career resurgence. Back-to-back wins over Mehdi Dakaev and Rashad Muradov has the Frenchman looking for three straight in Newcastle.
With this announcement, BAMMA 33 now looks like this:
Ryan Scope vs. Mickael Lebout
Fabian Edwards vs. Louis King
Aaron Chalmers vs. TBA
Colin Fletcher vs. TBA
