Britain’s biggest and longest running purely amateur MMA promotion returns to our consciousness this weekend, breaking new ground as they bring their show to Dunstable on Saturday. Patrons will be entertained by fifteen intriguing bouts, with a continental feel. Norwegian super-gym Frontline MMA will once again bring over a strong Nordic contingent to compete with some of the best up-and-comers from the British Isles.

The event will feature five title fights, with local hot prospect Duncan ‘The Handful’ Djillali headlining the show, facing off against the super-aggressive Jaye John for the Battle Arena British Bantamweight Title. The co-main, another 61kg clash, features Elite Training Centre’s young star Tom Gibbs, as he takes on one of the strongest fighters from Battle Arena regulars, McLeods MMA, George Caruana. If Scandinavian grit is your thing, look out for Fred Sjolie who faces Shane Geraty for the Battle Arena Lightweight European Title. Fourth from the top of the card is the super-slick submission expert Robert Masters who takes on the heavy-handed Dunstable based Badar Khalid for the Battle Arena European Bantamweight Title. Rounding up the belt section of the card is the Women’s European Bantamweight Title, which features Hell’s Pit’s Megan Norman against the young and talented Five Elements star Molly Lindsay.

Other highlights on the card include Jack ‘The Juggernaut’ Fletcher in what will likely be a ground shaking middleweight clash against the Norwegian Elijas Paknys. The baby-faced assassin Callum Birkenshaw will try to continue to realise his huge potential as he faces possibly the toughest test of his career to date against McLeod’s Lian Hardy. Tom Gibbs’ team mate Lee Anthony will look to further his education against Erland Limandiuk Myhr. Lionel Alexis will have to bring the best of his crisp striking game to Bedfordshire as he challenges RGA Bucks’ hottest talent, Harvey Stacey and Tyler Thomas will definitely need to use his cage experience as he faces off against the thunderous power of Attila Hanzel.
