Following back-to-back draws under KSW, Strus has won three straight under the ACB banner. A TKO win over Michail Tsarev at ACB 53 was followed by two submission wins over Andy DeVent at ACB 63 and Nikola Dipchikov at ACB 74.
Following a unanimous decision win against Brandon Girtz at Bellator 174 and a submission win over Brennan Ward at Bellator 182, Gonzalez suffered a loss in his last bout, a unanimous decision loss to Lorenz Larkin in the main event of Bellator 193.
