Curtis Millender vs Max Griffin official for UFC 226

A welterweight bout has been added to UFC 226 in Las Vegas as Curtis Millender vs Max Griffin has been added to the event.

UFC 226 will be held on July 7, 2018, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal announced the bout.

After winning seven on the bounce including his last three under the LFA banner, Millender was signed to the UFC last time out, where he earned an impressive second-round TKO win over Thiago Alves at UFC Fight Night 126.

Griffin, who is a more experienced UFC competitor is currently 2-2 under the UFC banner. A debut loss to Colby Covington was followed by a first-round TKO win over Erick Montano. A unanimous decision loss to Elizeu Zaleski followed, however, in his last bout, he earned a solid unanimous decision win over Mike Perry at UFC on FOX 28.
