Ares Fighting Championship, who are hosting their inaugural combat sporting event on Saturday, March 31st at Clacton Leisure Centre has announced the first installment of their main card for the event which will feature both Professional & Amateur MMA, K1 & Muay Thai.
Bellator Veteran Rafal Cejrowski (2-1-0) will face exciting Norwegian opponent Kristian Lapsley (2-4-0) for the Ares FC Professional Light Heavyweight MMA Title in the main event of the evening.
Cejrowski formerly part of the Olympic Polish wrestling team made a huge impact when making the transition to MMA going 4-0 as an Amateur to progressing to a 2-1 as a professional including victory over his opponents countryman Joseph Karim.
Lapsley comes into this fight after dropping a controversial decision loss to Pelu Adetola but the Sarpsborg Fighter who is never not in an exciting contest will bring his greater MMA experience to the cage against Cejrowski looking to take the Ares FC gold, Lapsley is a durable and tough opponent and has gone to the distance in 4 out of his 6 professional contests.
