A flyweight bout has been added to the upcoming UFC Fight Night 121 as Joanne Calderwood meets Bec Rawlings at the event.
UFC Fight Night 121 will be held on 19 November 2017 at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia.
The Brisbane Times announced the bout.
Following a flyweight bout win over Valérie Létourneau at UFC Fight Night: MacDonald vs. Thompson, Calderwood dropped back down to strawweight, however, has lost two straight to Jéssica Andrade and most recently Cynthia Calvillo where Calderwood also missed weight before the fight. Now Calderwood moves back up to flyweight to take on Rawlings in Sydney.
Following back-to-back wins over Lisa Ellis and Seo Hee Ham, Rawlings has also suffered back-to-back losses. A KO loss to Paige VanZant at UFC on Fox: Maia vs. Condit was followed by a unanimous decision loss to Tecia Torres at UFC Fight Night: Bermudez vs. Korean Zombie, a bout in which Rawlings missed weight.
