Official Lineup Announced For Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series

The premier of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series kicks off July 11th at 8pm ET. The first poster has arrived, via twitter, along with the first official announcement of the lineup.

In the main event, CES Featherweight Champion Matt Bessette is set to take on former Titan FC Featherweight Champion and Interim Titan FC Lightweight Champion Kurt Holobaugh.

While the official stakes of the fight are yet to be defined, the idea is that a win could get you into the UFC, or at least one step closer. Essentially, these ten fighters have been hand-selected as the top prospects not currently in the UFC.

Dana White had to file for a separate promoter’s license as these fights are not officially part of the UFC. However, the event will stream live on UFC Fight Pass and Dana White will be cage side. In other words, wins and losses will count towards the fighters’ official records since these are not exhibitions like you see on The Ultimate Fighter.

Check out the official lineup below:

Featherweight: Matt Bessette vs. Kurt Holobaugh
Heavyweight: Greg Rebello vs. Azunna Anwanwu
Bantamweight: Boston Salmon vs. Ricky Turcios
Middleweight: Charles Byrd vs. Justin Jones
Flyweight: Manny Vazquez vs. Joby Sanchez
