Almighty Fighting Championship 5: Preview and full fight card for this weekend’s event in Leeds

Almighty Fighting Championship returns this weekend for Almighty Fighting Championship 5 from the O2 Academy in Leeds on Saturday 17th June 2017.

The event will air live on MMAMad.com.

The main event features a lightweight title fight between Jack Grant and Kimbo Thinghaugen.

Following back-to-back losses, Grant has rebounded nicely with back-to-back victories of his own. A first round submission win over Jordan Miller at Almighty Fighting Championship 4 earned him a shot at the Killacam Fight Night lightweight title, which he won via first-round TKO over Romain Robert in April. Thinghaugen also rebounded from back-to-back losses last time out to earn a first-round TKO win over Andre Goncalves at Contenders 17 in December.

The main card also features three other professional bouts including an exciting featherweight contest between top-ranked UK featherweights Jordan Desborough and Tom Mearns which will be followed by two welterweight contests featuring Rastislav Toth vs. Tricomitis Andreas & Dave Sutcliffe vs. Quinton de Vreught.

The card also features an eleven fight amateur undercard which will be headlined by Lee Kennedy vs Robert Wolfe.
