Alan Jouban out, Chad Laprise steps in to take on Brian Camozzi at UFC 213

An injury to Alan Jouban has forced him out of his bout with Brian Camozzi at UFC 213.

Replacing Jouban will be Canadian Chad Laprise.

UFC 213: Nunes vs. Shevchenko 2 will be held on July 8, 2017, at T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada.

Jouban was forced to withdraw from the contest with a foot injury. Jouban announced the news Tuesday on Instagram.

Camozzi recently made his UFC debut after winning the RFA welterweight title in 2016. Camozzi will suffer a loss in his first UFC bout, however dropping a second-round TKO to Randy Brown at UFC Fight Night 102.

Following back-to-back losses for the first time in his career to Francisco Trinaldo and Ross Pearson, Laprise rebounded nicely in his last contest, earning a first round TKO win over Thibault Gouti at UFC on Fox: Maia vs. Condit.

With this reshuffle, UFC 213 now looks like this:

Amanda Nunes (c) vs. Valentina Shevchenko for the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Championship
Yoel Romero vs. Robert Whittaker for the interim UFC Middleweight Championship
Robbie Lawler vs. Donald Cerrone
Fabricio Werdum vs. Alistair Overeem
