Jordan Mein vs. Belal Muhammad added to UFC 213

A welterweight bout between Jordan Mein and Belal Muhammad has been added to the upcoming UFC 213 card in Las Vegas.

UFC 213 will be held on July 8, 2017, at T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada.

The event will take place during the UFC’s annual International Fight Week.

The Calgary Herald announced the bout.

A UFC Women’s bantamweight championship bout between current champion Amanda Nunes and Valentina Shevchenko is expected to headline this event.

Muhammad has traded wins and losses thus far in the UFC. A debut loss to Alan Jouban was followed by a TKO win over Augusto Montaño. Then a TKO loss to Vicente Luque was followed by a unanimous decision win over Randy Brown most recently at UFC 208.

Following a year layoff, Jordan Mein came back at UFC 206 where he suffered a unanimous-decision loss to Emil Weber Meek.

With this announcement, UFC 213 now looks like this:
