Means vs Garcia, Powell vs Horcher Set for UFC Fight Night 112 in Oklahoma

A welterweight bout between Tim Means and Alex Garcia & a lightweight bout between Devin Powell and Darrell Horcher have been added to the upcoming UFC Fight Night 112 fight card.

UFC Fight Night 112 will be held on June 25, 2017, at Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The event will be the second that the promotion has hosted in Oklahoma City, following UFC Fight Night: Diaz vs. Guillard in September 2009.

Means fought  Alex Oliveira at UFC 207 in Las Vegas, however, in the first round, Means landed two knees to Oliveira’s head while he was determined to be a grounded opponent. The fight was declared a no-contest and the bout was rebooked for UFC Fight Night: Belfort vs. Gastelum where Oliveira would earn a second-round submission win over the ‘Dirty Bird’.

Garcia who has traded wins and losses in his last four fights is coming off a ‘Performance of the Night’, one punch KO win over Mike Pyle at UFC 207.

Horcher, who signed with the UFC to fight Khabib Nurmagomedov on short notice at UFC on Fox: Teixeira vs. Evans will finally get his chance with a full training camp to make his mark in the UFC.

After being discovered on Dana White Lookin for a Fight, Powell was signed to fight Drakkar Klose at UFC Fight Night 103: Rodriguez vs. Penn, however, the Maine native lost a unanimous decision.
