Michael Page out of Bellator 179 fight with Derek Anderson after suffering knee injury

Michael ‘Venom’ Page is out of his co-main event bout with Derek Anderson at Bellator 179 after suffering a knee injury.

The Daily Telegraph reported the news.

Bellator 179 is scheduled to take place on May 19, 2017, at the SSE Arena in London, England.

The event will be headlined by a welterweight contest between Paul Daley against Rory MacDonald.

With the co-main event now off, Liam McGeary vs. Linton Vassell now features as the co-main event while Dan Vinni vs. Alex Lohore has moved from the preliminary card to the main card.
