Iuri Alcantara set to meet UFC newcomer Brian Kelleher at UFC 212

Iuri Alcântara now has a new opponent for UFC 212.

Originally scheduled to face Felipe Arantes at the event, Alcântara is now scheduled to face Brian Kelleher in Rio de Janeiro.

UFC 212 will be held on June 3, 2017, at the Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Globo announced the contest.

A UFC Featherweight Championship unification bout between current two-time champion José Aldo and current interim champion Max Holloway will feature as the main event.

Alcântara is currently on a two-fight winning streak, earning two ‘Performance of the Night’ bonuses in both wins. A submission win over Brad Pickett at UFC 204 was followed by a come from behind submission win over Luke Sanders at UFC 209.

Kelleher is the current Ring of Combat bantamweight champion and is currently on a six-fight winning streak. His last title defence came against Julio Arce at Ring Of Combat 54.
