[Breaking] Kelvin Gastelum vs. Anderson Silva added to UFC 212 in Brazil

A middleweight bout has been added to UFC 212 as former longtime champion Anderson Silva will meet  The Ultimate Fighter: Team Jones vs. Team Sonnen winner Kelvin Gastelum.

Ana Hissa‏, a journalist for Canal Combate in Brazil announced the bout.

UFC 212 will be held on June 3, 2017, at the Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

A UFC featherweight championship unification bout between current champion José Aldo and current interim champion Max Holloway will headline the event.

Since returning to middleweight, Gastelum has won two in a row. Firstly, Gastelum earned a third-round TKO win over Tim Kennedy at UFC 206 before most recently earning a first-round TKO win over former UFC champion Vitor Belfort at UFC Fight Night 106 this past weekend.

Since going 0-4-1 in his last five, Silva rebounded by earning a unanimous decision over Derek Brunson at UFC 208 in Brooklyn.

With this announcement, UFC 212 now looks like this:
