Eddie Alvarez vs. Dustin Poirier verbally agreed for UFC 211 in Dallas

A lightweight bout between former UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez and Dustin Poirier has been verbally agreed for UFC 211.

Brett Okamoto from ESPN announced the news.

UFC 211: Miocic vs. dos Santos 2 will be held on May 13, 2017 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.

A UFC Heavyweight Championship bout between current champion Stipe Miocic and former champion Junior dos Santos will feature as the main event of the evening. The co-main event features a UFC Women’s Strawweight Championship bout between the current champion Joanna Jędrzejczyk and Jéssica Andrade.

With this announcement, UFC 211 now looks like this:

Joanna Jędrzejczyk (c) vs. Jéssica Andrade for the UFC Women’s Strawweight Championship
