[News] Report that Cain Velasquez is out of fight with Fabricio Werdum at UFC 207 are false

A report that stated that Cain Velasquez is out of his bout with Fabricio Werdum  at UFC 207 are false sources close to the former heavyweight champion.

Entimorts.com reported that Velasquez was out of the bout on Thursday.

UFC 207: Nunes vs Rousey will be held on December 30, 2016 at T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada.

The event will be headlined by a UFC Women’s Bantamweight Championship bout between current champion Amanda Nunes and former champion Ronda Rousey.

Velasquez and Werdum are expected to rematch at UFC 207, following their first fight on June 2015 at UFC 188, with then interim champion Werdum unified the title, as he won the fight via submission in the third round.

Ariel Helwani confirmed the news that Velasquez is not out of the bout.
