George Sullivan vs. Randy Brown added to UFC 208 in Brooklyn

A welterweight bout between Randy Brown and George Sullivan has been added to the ever growing UFC 208 card.

UFC 208 will be held on February 11, 2017 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

NEWSDAY reported the bout.

Sullivan is coming off a knockout loss to Alexander Yakovlev at UFC on Fox 18 on January 30, 2016. Sullivan was expected to face Héctor Urbina on July 23, 2016 at UFC on Fox 20, however, Sullivan was pulled from the event due to a “potential compliance issue” with the UFC’s anti-doping policy stemming from “voluntarily disclosed information” he provided to USADA.

Brown was featured on Dana Whites Looking For A Fight where he knocked out Robert Plotkin at Ring of Combat 53. He was signed to the UFC soon after. He is coming off a spectacular knockout win over UFC newcomer Brian Camozzi at UFC Fight Night: Lewis vs. Abdurakhimov earlier this month

With this fight announcement, UFC 208 now looks like this:

Holly Holm vs. Germaine de Randamie for the inaugural female UFC featherweight title
Glover Teixeira vs. Jared Cannonier
Ian McCall vs. Neil Seery
George Sullivan vs. Randy Brown
