Matt Schnell gets official UFC call up; faces Rob Font at The Ultimate Fighter 24 Finale

Alejandro Perez pulled out of his bout with Rob Font at The Ultimate Fighter 24 Finale earlier this week and now the UFC has found a replacement.

Former Legacy FC interim flyweight champion and current Ultimate Fighter season 24 competitor Matt Schnell.

The Ultimate Fighter 24 Finale will be held on December 3, 2016, at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Schnell (10-2 MMA) competed at flyweight on the show, defeating Matt Rizzo in the first round via second round submission. In the quarter-final round, Schnell lost via first round submission to eventual finalist Tim Elliot.

Schnell will be moving up to bantamweight for his official UFC debut.
