Rob Font looking for a replacement as Alejandro Perez pulls out of fight with injury

Another day, another injury that the UFC has to deal with.

Alejandro Perez has pulled out of his bout with Rob Font at The Ultimate Fighter 24 Finale in two weeks MMAJunkie confirmed.

The UFC are now looking for a bantamweight fighter to step up on short notice to fill in against Font.

The Ultimate Fighter 24 Finale will be held on December 3, 2016, at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.

 

The event will be headlined by a UFC Flyweight Championship bout with current champion Demetrious Johnson facing the winner of the flyweight tournament on the show.

Font, the former CES featherweight champion won his first two bouts in the UFC including a ‘Performance of the Night’ KO win over George Roop in his debut. Font is coming into this bout off a unanimous decision loss to John Lineker at UFC 198.

Perez is the winner of the first season of “The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America.” Following the show, Perez lost to Patrick Williams via submission but has since defeated Scott Jorgensen and Ian Entwistle and fought to a draw with Albert Morales.
