Tim Boestch would not be denied at UFC 205, as he stalked Natal around the cage and landed an lunging right hand against the cage that rendered the Brazilian defenseless.
UFC 205 was held tonight (November 12, 2016) at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York. This event featured UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor Challenge Eddie Alvarez for the UFC lightweight title. two other title fights, and an excellent preliminary card for promotion’s return to the Empire State.
“The Barbarian” was immediately the aggressor in the contest. He was the one coming forward from the opening bell. As usual, it was clear that Boestch had an early finish on his mind. Every punch he threw had power behind it and he cut Natal under the left eye early in the bout. Eventually Natal could run no more and was caught with his back on the fence. Boestch leaped in with a blistering combo that ended with a heavy right hook. Natal dropped to the mat and Boestch moved in with the finishing touches.
The fight was brought to a halt at 3:22, giving Tim Boestch the TKO victory.
Boestch is now 20-10, with 20 of those bouts taking place inside the Octagon. Rafael Natal slipped to 21-8-1.
