Stevie Ray to replace injured James Krause against Ross Pearson in Belfast

The UFC first return to Belfast since UFC 72 in June 2007 continues to be hit with the injury bug. Following Gunnar Nelson’s withdrawal from the fight card, James Krause is now out of his fight with Ross Pearson with an injury.Ariel Helwani of MMAFighting is reporting that Scottish fighter Stevie Ray will replace Krause to face Pearson at the event.

UFC Fight Night 99 will be held on November 19, 2016 at The SSE Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Ray (19-6 MMA) is coming off the first UFC loss, a unanimous decision to Alan Patrick at UFC Fight Night: Cyborg vs. Lansberg. Prior to the loss, the former Cage Warriors lightweight champion had won three straight in the UFC.
