Max Barrett and Dan Dubuque square off in the biggest fight of their careers at CES MMA 39 on November 4 at Plymouth Memorial Hall in Plymouth, Mass.
This is the first time these fighters have competed on television, but both combatants are taking the opportunity to showcase their skills and toughness under the famed AXS TV Fights banner in stride.
“It’s awesome to be a part of a live broadcast and to have my fight seen by a much larger audience, but my job is the same, whether I’m fighting on AXS TV Fights or in front of no one at all,” offered the unbeaten Barrett, who will be competing on November 4 alongside his older brother, and undefeated brawler, Peter Barrett.
“CES MMA has been growing and doing a lot of big things, and I’m excited to be a part of this event and hopefully more in 2017 — but that all hinges on me winning this fight,” added Dubuque. “It’s exciting, and I’m ready for anything.”
When the cage door locks, it will be just Barrett and Dubuque under the bright lights at Plymouth Memorial Hall — and neither fighter plans on giving an inch when push comes to shove.
“Definitely the plan is to finish the fight, and do it quickly. All of my professional wins have come in the first round, and I’m looking to keep that streak going,” said Barrett, who calls Abington, Mass., home.
“I train everything and I’m ready wherever the fight goes,” offered Dubuque, a Connecticut product. “It’s going to be a war wherever it goes, and I’m planning on having my hand raised.”
