Almighty Fighting Championship returns this weekend for their third show, Almighty Fighting Championships 3.
AFC 3 will be held at the O2 Academy in Leeds, England on Saturday 29th October.
The card will feature one professional bout along with 16 amateur contests.
The main event features featherweight professional contest between Martin Sweeney and Krzysiek Adamczyk.
Adamczyk (0-2 MMA) has lost his first two professional bouts of his career. The first loss came against Harry Marple at Fight UK: Last Man Standing. In his most recent bout, the Polish fighter suffered a TKO loss to Aiden Lee at Almighty Fighting Championship 1.
Sweeney (0-2 MMA) has the same record as his opponent, losing his first two professional bouts. The first came at the hands of Jai Herbert at Full Contact Contender 13 whilst his most recent loss came against Arthur Brek at ICE FC 9 late last year. Both fighters will be looking to gain their first professional MMA win on Saturday night.
The co-main event features an amateur lightweight title fight between Dom Stringer and Beau Gavin.
Stringer who is currently 5-2 as an amateur is coming off a submission win over Marc Halford at Almighty Fighting Championship 2 which earned his the title shot. Gavin, recently competed at the 2016 IMMAF World Championships in Las Vegas. He was defeated at the event by Bulgarian amateur Ferdun Osmanov.
