BAMMA has struck a deal with Unilad to broadcast their fights live on UNILAD’s facebook page. DigiDay announced the news and MMA Mad confirmed the deal with a BAMMA.
Starting in November, the two companies will work together to be stream to Unilad’s 19 million + facebook followers. The deal only pertains to preliminary card fights and the main card fights will continue to be broadcast on Channel 5.
Unilad’s CEO, Liam Harrington is confident Unilad can bring in the numbers, believing there’s evidence of appetite to watch live sports in the news feed.
The deal also includes brand awareness for the fighters of BAMMA. Unilad and BAMMA will work together to promote fighters who are fighting on upcoming BAMMA cards to help increase their popularity.
