Marc Diakiese gets new opponent for UFC 204 following Reza Madadi’s withdrawal


Marc Diakiese’s UFC debut will still go ahead at UFC 204 next week however it will not be against his originally scheduled opponent Reza Madadi. Diakiese will now take on Lukasz Sajewski in Manchester. FloCombat announced the lineup change.

UFC 204 will be held on October 8, 2016, at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England.

Diakiese (9-0 MMA) is coming off two huge first round KO victories over Rick Selverjah and Kane Mousah which went viral around the world. ‘Bonecrusher’ trains with UFC middleweight Scott Askham and former UFC featherweight Mike Wilkinson at Atherton Submission Wrestling in Manchester.

Sajewski (13-2 MMA) has lost both of his UFC bouts thus far. In his debut, Sajewski lost a unanimous decision to Nick Hein at UFC Fight Night 69 – Jedrzejczyk vs. Penne before losing via submission to Gilbert Burns at UFC Fight Night 90 – Dos Anjos vs. Alvarez.

With this change, UFC 204 now looks like this:
