Conor McGregor rehabbing leg injury, will not fight on UFC 205 in New York

The Irish fans will not be travelling to New York this November.

On UFC tonight, Megan Olivi announced that the UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor is rehabbing a leg injury and will not compete on the first UFC card in New York.

UFC 205 will be held on November 12, 2016, at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York.

The extent of the injury is not known at the time of writing, however, McGregor was limping following his majority decision win over Nate Diaz at UFC 202 following his gameplan to include leg kicks to defeat Diaz.
