Two of the most prominent MMA promotions in the United States have today announced the merging of the two companies as Legacy Fighting Champion and Resurrection Fighting Alliance and will now become Legacy Fighting Alliance.
Both companies air shows on AXS TV and LFA has now signed a new 5-year deal with AXS TV
Longtime MMA exec Sven Bean will serve as Legacy Fighting Alliance COO. Legacy Fighting Alliance will officially launch in January 2017 and Ed Soares serving as CEO.
Mick Maynard, the Legacy FC CEO has been rumoured to take over Joe Silva’s role as matchmaker for the UFC, will not take up a management role with LFA.
