Neil Grove in to face James Mulheron at Bellator 158 in London

Neil Grove is coming out of retirement to face James Mulheron at Bellator 158. WHOA TV reported the bout on twitter.

Bellator 158 will be held on July 16, 2016 at the O2 Arena in London, England.

The event will be headlined by a welterweight bout between England’s own Paul Daley and former Bellator welterweight champion Douglas Lima.

Grove (12-7 MMA) retired from MMA in 2013 following a unanimous decision loss to Shamil Abdurakhimov. ‘Goliath’ is a six fight Bellator MMA veteran and holds notable wins over James Thompson and James McSweeney.

Originally scheduled to face Mark Godbeer on the main card, Mulheron and Godbeer were relagated to the main card following the addition of James Gallagher vs. Mike Cutting. Godbeer felt that he has been let down by the promotion who promised him a main card slot. Godbeer subsequently was removed from the bout and has now been replaced by Grove.

Originally, Bellator President Scott Coker announced that Kimbo Slice and James Thompson would headline the card, however tragically these plans had to be scrapped, as Slice died suddenly on June 6, of heart failure.

With this fight, Bellator 158 now looks like this:
