Sam Alvey welcomes Eric Spicely to the UFC at UFC Fight Night 91

A middleweight contest has been added to UFC Fight Night 91 as Sam Alvey will welcome Eric Spicely to the UFC.

UFC Fight Night 91 will be held on July 13, 2016 at Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The event will be the first that the organisation has hosted in South Dakota.

Alvey (28-6-1 MMA) is currently riding the first two fight losing streak of his career. A TKO loss to Derek Brunson at UFC Fight Night: Teixeira vs. Saint Preux was followed up this past weekend by a unanimous decision loss to Elias Theodorou at UFC Fight Night: MacDonald vs. Thompson in Ottawa.

Spicely (8-0 MMA) is coming off season 23 of the Ultimate Fighter. Spicely earned a unanimous decision win over Elias Urbina IV in round 1 of the show however was knocked off the show last week losing via KO to Andrew Sanchez in the semi-finals.
