[Fight Week] Bellator 157: Fight Card Information and Preview

Bellator 157

Bellator 157: Dynamite 2 will be held on June 24, 2016 at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri. The event will air live in prime time on Spike TV following the preliminary card which will be aired on MMAMad.com.

The event is headlined by a Catchweight bout between former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton Jackson and Japanese Olympic gold medalist Satoshi Ishii .

Jackson has not competed since April 2015, when he defeated Fabio Maldonado via unanimous decision at UFC 186. Prior to that, “Rampage” had a successful three-fight stint with Bellator MMA , going 3-0 with two knockouts against Joey Beltran & Christian M’Pumbu followed by a unanimous decision win over Muhammed Lawal. After facing Maldonado inside the UFC Octagon, a contract settlement brought him back to Bellator MMA , where he now faces Ishii.

In the co-main event, former Bellator Lightweight Champion Michael Chandler takes on top contender Patricky Freire for the vacant Bellator Lightweight Championship.
