Another exciting bout has been added to the UFC’s debut in Hamburg as lightweight’s Rustam Khabilov and Reza Madadi has been added to the event. The UFC announced the bout on Friday morning.

UFC Fight Night 93 will be held on September 3, 2016 at Barclaycard Arena in Hamburg, Germany. After holding four previous events in Germany (Cologne, Oberhausen and Berlin twice), the event will be the first that the organisation has hosted in Hamburg.

Khabilov (19-3 MMA) has rebounded recently following his first two fight losing streak of his career. A submission loss to former UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson was followed up by a split decision loss to Adriano Martins at UFC Fight Night: Bigfoot vs. Mir. With his UFC status in jeopordy, Khabilov has now won back to back unanimous decision wins over Norman Parke at UFC Fight Night: Silva vs. Bisping and Chris Wade most recently at UFC Fight Night: Overeem vs. Arlovski.

Madadi (14-4 MMA) has traded wins and losses in his UFC career thus far. Following an impressive submission win over top contender Michael Johnson, Madadi was arrested in his adopted country of Sweden for burglary. After 14 months in jail, on June 10, 2015 it was announced by Madadi and his management that he was back in the UFC.

Madadi faced Norman Parke on October 24, 2015 at UFC Fight Night 76. He lost the fight by unanimous decision. Madadi rebounded in his most recent bout against Yan Cabral on May 8, 2016 at UFC Fight Night 87. Madadi won the fight by TKO after connecting with a uppercut and follow up punches in round 3.
