Conor McGregor is now officially the world’s 85th highest-paid athlete, according to Forbes.com.
$22 million in earnings over the past 12 months makes Conor McGregor the only MMA fighter to appear on the list. Despite being on the list, Conor McGregor stated that he is ‘still in the hood’ in a tweet sent by the featherweight champion yesterday.

McGregor fought three times during the period covered by Forbes, competing at UFC 189, UFC 194 and UFC 196.
Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo topped the list with $88 million in earnings while his rival Lionel Messi came in second. This list marks the first time that neither Floyd Mayweather or Tiger Woods were first on the list.
McGregor is currently booked to rematch Nate Diaz at UFC 202 in August.
