Nate Diaz attended UFC 199 last weekend at the Forum in California and reports are coming out that the former UFC lightweight title challenger got into a scuffle backstage with Jason Guida, Clay Guida’s brother.
Evan Rodner, who produces the ‘Fighter and the Kid’ podcast with Brendan Schaub and Bryan Callen on FOX spoke about the incident at UFC 199.
‘It looked like Nate Diaz got into an altercation with Jason Guida, Clay Guida’s older brother’ Rodner stated. ‘I have no idea what it was over, but all of a sudden there were a ton of bodies entering the tunnels in the back (of the arena). ‘After the scuffle had ended, Diaz walked back into the arena as though nothing had happened. he didn’t give on single f*ck’.
Nate Diaz is scheduled to rematch Conor McGregor in the main event of UFC 202 which is set to take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Diaz won the first fight at UFC 196 via rear-naked choke in the second round.
Jason Guida has previously fought for who has fought for ShoXC, World Extreme Cagefighting, Bellator, World Extreme Fighting more and is the older brother of Ultimate Fighting Championship veteran Clay Guida who lost via TKO at UFC 199 to Brian Ortega.
