[Breaking] LaBerge, Lemke Will Lock Horns at #CES36

After a big win at CES MMA 35, #FallRiver’s Josh LaBerge is looking to keep the good times rolling when he returns at CES MMA 36 at #Lincoln, R.I.’s Twin River Casino on June 10.
But standing across the cage will be #Bangor’s Jon Lemke, a hard-hitting #Bellator veteran who’s hunting for his fifth K.O. win as a professional.

A winner in eight of his past nine fights, LaBerge won a hard-fought decision in his last CES MMA bout. Decisions don’t sit well with the scrappy veteran, who has finished three of his past five opponents in a single round.

“I’m definitely looking for the stoppage. When I look at my last fight, I realize I could’ve done a lot better and I definitely should’ve finished the guy. Now that I’m back, I’m ready to put this guy away, like I’ve done in the past,” said LaBerge, a #Strikeforce vet who made his pro debut almost 10 years ago.

Lemke, who burst onto the pro MMA scene with three straight wins in 2012 is looking to continue building momentum after a November victory.

“I’ve got a lot of respect for all of my opponents. But at the end of the day, anyone I’m fighting is just an opponent,” said Lemke. “If I go in there and do what I do best, I’m going to finish my opponent and I’m going to have my hand raised.”
