Early on Monday morning, UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor took to twitter to answer some of the fans questions regarding his latest UFC loss to Nate Diaz and what is next for the Dublin native. Check out the best bits from the Q&A here.
It didn’t take long however for Nate Diaz to respond to McGregor’s jiu-jitsu tweet on social media.

McGregor and Diaz were originally scheduled to face each other for a second time at UFC 200. However following a tweet stating that McGregor was retiring from the sport, Dana White pulled the fight from UFC 200 stating that McGregor was not willing to participate in the kick off press conference and travel to Las Vegas to fulfil other promotional activities leading up to the event.
McGregor then retorted by tweeting that his last three fights generated $400 million for the company and asked to have his promotional responsibilities eased for one fight, as he looked to rebound from his first UFC loss, to Diaz.
The UFC did not grant McGregor that wish, leaving McGregor and Diaz without a fight currently booked. Daniel Cormier vs. Jon Jones 2 will now headline UFC 200.
