UFC 200 will be held on July 9, 2016 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
McGregor sent out a tweet last Tuesday afternoon stating that he was retiring from the sport of MMA, however on Thursday, McGregor made his first public statement since the tweet stating that his last three fights generated $400 million for the company and asked to have his promotional responsibilities eased for one fight, as he looked to rebound from his first UFC loss, to Diaz.
The UFC refused this and pulled McGregor from the card however UFC president Dana White stated later in the week that if Conor McGregor were to pick up the phone and call him, the fight between the Dublin native and Nate Diaz would still headline UFC 200.
There is no news as to who McGregor will be fighting at this moment, however we expect Nate Diaz to rematch McGregor in the headlining spot.
