Rob Font and Charles Rosa — two of CES MMA’s most successful alums — will be inducted into the CES MMA Cage of Honor at #CES35, April 16 at the North Shore Music Theatre in Beverly.
The CES MMA World Featherweight Champion before signing with the UFC, Font is undefeated in six trips to the CES MMA cage. Rosa was undefeated through five CES MMA fights before transitioning to the UFC.
Both fighters are currently making waves in the UFC’s Octagon, with Font winning his first two fights, and Rosa coming off a big win over fellow CES MMA alum Kyle Bochniak at UFC Boston.
There were smiles all around when the two UFC stars spoke about their inclusion in the Cage of Honor.
“I always wanted to fight for CES, right from the very beginning of my career, and they did everything they could to help me succeed in MMA,” Font says, smiling. “I’m really happy to be inducted — it’s an honor — and I feel like I’ve come full circle.”
Adds Rosa, “CES has always treated me like family and played a big role in getting me to where I am today, and I’ll always be grateful for that. I’m ever more grateful to be inducted into their hall of fame. It’s an honor and something I’m very proud of.”Check out our latest podcast episode featuring Robbie Fox of Barstool Sports.
