UKMMAF & BAMMA has today announced the first annual BAMMA Invitational UKMMAF National Amateur Tournament.
The United Kingdom Mixed Martial Arts Federation (UKMMAF) and BAMMA have joined forces to present the first annual BAMMA Invitational UKMMAF National Amateur Tournament, which will take place from May 13-15 at BodyPower Expo 2016 at the NEC Arena, Birmingham. This event will become a staple in the MMA calendar, and is a huge step forward in developing the amateur MMA scene in the UK, as the country’s finest amateur talent compete for the title of national champion.
The tournament is open to male competitors in the Bantamweight, Featherweight, Lightweight, Welterweight and Middleweight divisions. This is a unique opportunity for athletes to compete with the very best amateur fighters in the UK, as they take part in this elimination tournament, which will take place in front of an a huge crowd, with over 90,000 visitors expected at BodyPower Expo.
BAMMA and UKMMAF are fully committed to developing the growing amateur MMA scene in the UK, and the BAMMA Invitational UKMMAF National Amateur Tournament will only help speed up this growth
