Anderson Silva vs. Uriah Hall in the works for UFC 198 in Brazil

Anderson Silva

A middleweight fight between Anderson Silva against Uriah Hall is in the works for UFC 198 according to an initial report from Sherdog.

UFC 198: Werdum vs. Miocic will be held on May 14, 2016 at Arena da Baixada in Curitiba, Brazil.

Silva (33-7, 1 NC MMA) is coming off a ‘Fight of the Night’ decision loss to Michael Bisping at UFC Fight Night in London last month. Many fighters believed that Silva won the incredibly close fight and it was the Brazilian’s first bout back from a one-year steroid suspension. Silva had beaten Nick Diaz at UFC 183 via decision in January 2015, however because of the failed drug test, the win is now listed as a no-contest.

Hall (12-6 MMA) is coming off a loss to Robert Whittaker at UFC 193 in November. Prior to that, Hall defeated Gegard Mousasi and Oluwale Bamgbose.

With this fight addition, UFC 198 now looks like this:

Fabrício Werdum (c) vs. Stipe Miocic
Ronaldo Souza vs. Vitor Belfort
Maurício Rua vs. Corey Anderson
Demian Maia vs. Matt Brown
Patrick Cummins vs. Antônio Rogério Nogueira
Warlley Alves vs. Bryan Barberena
Francisco Trinaldo vs. Yancy Medeiros
Thiago Santos vs. Nate Marquardt
Sérgio Moraes vs. Kamaru Usman
Renato Moicano vs. Zubaira Tukhugov
Anderson Silva vs. Uriah Hall
