BAMMA today announces two more Lightweight fights for the BAMMA 25: Champion Vs. Champion fight card at the Barclaycard Arena, Birmingham on May 14th 2016. Mario ‘Rudeboy’ Saaed takes on Tobias ‘The Development’ Reid and Jai Herbert faces Tony Morgan.
Mario ‘Rudeboy’ Saeed vs. Tobias ‘The Development’ Reid (Lightweight Bout)
After his BAMMA debut at BAMMA 24: Kone Vs. Phillips, Mario ‘Rudeboy’ Saeed (8-3) is set on making a statement in Birmingham at the Barclaycard Arena on May 14th. The Team Trojan fighter is already in fight camp and intently focusing on nothing short of a dominant win. Mario is also proposing to bring a large vocal crowd to support him in his next battle at BAMMA. A focused and angry Mario Saeed is a dangerous Mario Saeed.
Local favourite Tobias ‘The Development’ Reid (4-1) will make his third appearance under the BAMMA banner at BAMMA 25: Champion vs. Champion, and is set on making it a happy hunting ground as he looks for three wins out of three. Defeating Craig ‘Wolvermarine’ Clarkson last time out at BAMMA 23: Night of Champions, Tobias has been on a steady rise as one of BAMMA’s Lightweight brightest prospects. If the UTC Cannock star can take the win here against his toughest challenge yet in Mario Saeed, then talk as a future opponent for Marc ‘Bonecrusher’ Diakiese’s Lonsdale Title will continue to build.
Jai Herbert Vs. Tony Morgan (Lightweight Bout)
Wolverhampton fighter Jai Herbert (3-0) returns to BAMMA after besting Ben Bennett at BAMMA 23: Night Of Champions with a second round TKO. Herbert has fought as both an Amateur and Pro at BAMMA, and will be aiming to take his record to 4-0 at BAMMA 25: Champion Vs. Champion against the undefeated Morgan on May 14th. The Wolfpack MMA standout hasn’t lost since his amateur debut in 2013 and has been looking somewhat unstoppable of late. Only time and Tony Morgan will tell if that is the case come the conclusion of their upcoming battle at the Barclaycard Arena.
BAMMA newcomer Tony Morgan (3-0) trains out of Predators Gym in Manchester, home to BAMMA Legend Rob ‘C4’ Sinclair. Cruising through his first three pro fights and finishing them all within the final bell, Morgan won’t have any fear in stepping toe to toe with Herbert. Dropping down from Welterweight to the stacked BAMMA Lightweight division and with two T/KO’s and a submission to his name, his all round game and the experience of Sinclair will have him fully prepared to take on the bright lights and huge crowd at the Barclaycard Arena.Check out our latest podcast episode featuring Robbie Fox of Barstool Sports.
