BAMMA has added a middleweight bout to their upcoming BAMMA 25 card in Birmingham as Matt Hallam will take on Marcin Prostko.
BAMMA 25: Champion vs. Champion will be held at the Barclaycard Arena, Birmingham on Saturday 14th May 2016.
After his opponent failed to make weight at BAMMA 24, Matt ‘Farmer Boy’ Hallam (5-2) makes his return to BAMMA for his first fight for the promotion since BAMMA 16. The heavy handed Hallam has all five of his victories via T/KO, and recently re-located to London Shootfighters alongside long time training partner ‘Judo’ Jim Wallhead. Hallam made his debut in BAMMA against Harry ‘Mad Mac’ McLeman at BAMMA 15 and then followed this up by appearing at BAMMA 16: Daley Vs. DaSilva, where he took the victory over Curtis ‘Farmer’ Widmer in short fashion as he secured the victory in the 2nd round.
The Polish born freestyle fighter out of Wakefield, Marcin ‘Mad Boy’ Prostko (4-1) returns to BAMMA and to the Middleweight division as he takes on Hallam. Prostko last fought at BAMMA 23: Night of Champions, where he took Welterweight Bill Beaumont to a hard fought decision. Training out of ASW Manchester alongside the likes of Lonsdale Lightweight Champion Marc Diakiese and former BAMMA Middleweight Champion Scott Askham, Prostko is now aiming to make his mark on the BAMMA Middleweight division.
