[BREAKING] Merab Dvalishvili & Geoffrey Then To Square Off at CES MMA 34 on April 1st

It’s a lightning fast turnaround for CES MMA, as the 34th event in their history is set to take place on April 1st at Foxwoods Resort Casino, just three weeks after CES MMA 33, scheduled for March 11th.

CES MMA 34, set to be headlined by a welterweight championship bout between Chris Curtis (c) and  Nah-Shon Burrell, will feature a bantamweight clash between Merab Dvalishvili and Geoffrey Then.

Geoffrey Then is fighting out of American Top Team Connecticut under the tutelage of Danbury resident and top UFC Light Heavyweight Glover Texiera. The fight will mark his CES MMA debut and should serve as a perfect test to see where he stacks up against the pros.

Merab Dvalishvili is entering the cage for the fourth time as a professional, entering the bout with a 1-2 record. A veteran of stand-out New Jersey promotion Ring of Combat, Dvalishvili dropped a decision in his pro debut and bounced back with a third round TKO seven months later.

In Novemeber of 2014, Dvalishvili dropped a second decision and will be looking to bounce back with a statement victory over the newcomer Geoffrey Then.

CES MMA 34 is set to take place on April 1st, live from the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, CT.
