CES has today announced that Bobby Flynn vs. Kevin Horowitz will take place at CES 33.
CES MMA 33 will takes place March 11 at Twin River Casino in Lincoln, R.I. The main card airs on AXS TV.
Flynn (5-3 MMA) from Mashpee, Massachusetts recently put a halt to a two fight losing streak. Losses to Ralph Johnson at Cage Titans 20 and Neiman Gracie at Bellator 134 had Flynn on his first two fight losing streak of his professional career, however he turned it around nicely with a first round submission win in his last bout against Louis Torres at Cage Titan 25 in August.
Horowitz (6-5 MMA) is currently 3-1 in his last four. Two decision wins under the CES banner against Tyson Chartier and Shawn Summey was followed by a TKO loss to Joe Fye at Sherman Cage Rage. However in his most recent bout for Reality Fighting, Horowitz earned a unanimous decision win over Tyler Rose.
Bobby Flynn shared his thoughts on the upcoming fight with CES MMA, while matchmaker Pat Sullivan explained his excitement for the bout:
I’ve wanted to fight for CES for quite a while. A lot of fighters from the organization have gotten a lot of attention. With an impressive performance, hopefully people start talking about me a bit more too.
In order to get anywhere, I can’t afford another loss on my record. An exciting win is necessary at this point.
Pat Sullivan on Kevin Horowitz:
We have been working on getting Kevin back in the CES cage for a year now. His 3-1 record here is one of the best in the CES Welterweight division, and he is someone who always entertained the fans. We are very excited to showcase his veteran cage presence against the always-exciting Bobby Flynn.
