Mickey Gall vs. Mike Jackson added to UFC 196 prelims; If Gall wins, he will face CM Punk next


UFC President Dana White appeared on Canadian TV show Off The Record on Wednesday to discuss many topics, however one of the main story was who would CM Punks debut MMA opponent be and White had an answer. White said that Mickey Gall will fight on UFC 196 prelims against Michael Jackson. If Gall wins, he will fight CM Punk in the following fight.

UFC 196: Werdum vs. Velasquez 2 will be held on February 6, 2016 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Gall (1-0 MMA) won his MMA debut Dead Serious MMA (Dead Serious 17) in November submitting Ron Templeton via rear-naked choke in the first round. Dana White was in attendence that night, filming his new show — Dana White – Looking for a fight. Jackson will be making his pro MMA debut at UFC 196.
