Beneil Dariush is officially out of his bout with Mairbeck Taisumov at UFC Fight Night 81 in Boston. Chris Wade will officially step in on short-ish notice

UFC Fight Night 81 will be held on January 17, 2016 at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.

Wade (10-1 MMA) has looked impressive since making his UFC debut at UFC 177. The former Ring of Combat Lightweight champion defeated Cain Carrizosa via first round submission in his debut in Sacramento, Calif which has been followed up with unanimous decision wins over Zhang Lipeng and Christos Giagos.

Taisumov (24-5 MMA) is riding an impressive three fight finishing winning streak. TKO wins over Marcin Bandel and Anthony Christodoulou were followed by a ‘Performance of the Night’ TKO win over Alan Patrick in Berlin earlier this year.

With this fight change, UFC Fight Night 81 now looks like this:

T.J. Dillashaw (c) vs. Dominick Cruz
Anthony Pettis vs. Eddie Alvarez
Travis Browne vs. Matt Mitrione
Tim Boetsch vs. Ed Herman
Paul Felder vs. Daron Cruickshank
Ben Saunders vs. Patrick Côté
