Spong injured, Clinton Williams steps in to take on Jake Heun at WSOF 26

WSOF’s Tyrone Spong is injured and out of his co-main event fight with Jake Heun at World Series of Fighting 26. Sherdog first reported the news. Clinton Williams will replace Spong who has not competed in MMA since Aug, 2013, when he took a unanimous decision over Angel DeAnda at WSOF 4.

Williams (7-2 MMA),  has won four of his last five fights. Williams is coming off a third-round submission of Jared Hatch last month at SteelFist Fight Night 38.

Heun (8-4) is coming off a third-round submission win against Davin Clark at WSOF 22 in August. The 28-year-old, who trains out of American Top Team, has won three in a row. With this fight change, WSOF 26 now looks like this.
