Invicta FC 15 set for California in January, headlined by strawweight title fight, ‘Cyborg’ co-main event

Invicta Fighting Championship’s President Shannon Knapp announced earlier today on the MMA Hour that the promotion is heading back to California and visit The Hangar at the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa on Saturday, January 16th. Headlining the event will be a strawweight title fight between champion Livia Renata Souza and the unbeaten DeAnna Bennett.

The co-main event features featherweight champion   who is expected to take on Belgium’s Cindy Dandois in a non-title, 140-pound catchweight bout as the champion looks to take her first step at trying to reduce her weight, ultimatly trying to hit 135lbs .

Also announced for the event will be another strawweight bout between recently signed UFC veteran Angela Hill takes on vet Jodie Esquibel. Also announced for the card is an atomweight contest between Lisa Ellis will take on Amber Brown and Irene Aldana vs. Raquel Paaluhi.

More bouts for the event are expected to be announced in the coming weeks. The event will stream live and exclusively on UFC Fight Pass.
