St. Louis, Missouri – Bobby Lashley needed less than a minute to avenge his 2012 loss to James Thompson.
Bellator 145: Vengeance will take place November 6, 2015 at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri. The event will air live in prime time on Spike TV following the preliminary card on MMA Mad. Bobby Lashley vs. James Thompson took place on the main card which aired live on Spike TV.
The fight started with both men looking to land a punch or two, but it took less than 15 seconds for Lashley to take the fight to mat with a single leg take down that looked like it hyper-extended James Thompson’s knee. He quickly moved to Thompson’s back and started in with the heavy blows. It wasn’t long until Thompson was unable to defend himself and the fight was stopped. Thompson immediately protested the stoppage, but Lashley had already moved onto extending his winning streak in Bellator to 4 in a row.
The stoppage came at 0:54 of the opening round.
