Khabib Nurmagomedov has once again been forced to withdraw from an upcoming bout with the Ultimate Fighting Championship and it very well may be for the final time.
After announcing that he was forced to pull out of his bout with Kevin Ferguson, which had been scheduled to take place Dec. 11 in Las Vegas, the chronically hobbled lightweight contender took to Instagram to apologize to his fans and blame his most recent setback on an injured rib. He also hinted that it may be his final attempt to compete in the world’s largest MMA organization.
“I want to apologize to my fans. I broke my rib, and again I am out of the fight,” he wrote on Instagram. “I really wanted to come back, I’m not sure if I will ever come back.”
