[Breaking News] Ross Pearson vs. Francisco Trinaldo set for UFC Fight Night 81 in Boston

British lightweight Ross Pearson has his next UFC assignment as he has been matched against Francisco Trinaldo at UFC Fight Night 81.

UFC Fight Night 81 will be held on January 17, 2016 at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. A UFC Bantamweight Championship bout between current champion T.J. Dillashaw and former UFC and WEC Bantamweight champion Dominick Cruzis is expected to headline this event.

Pearson (18-9-1 MMA) has traded wins and loses in his last six octagon appearances going 3-3 inside the octagon. The Ultimate Fighter Season 9 winner is coming off a split decision win over Paul Felder at UFC 191 in September.

Trinaldo (18-4 MMA) is currently riding an impressive four fight winning streak under the ZUFFA banner. The Ultimate Fighter Brazil contestant has racked off wins over Leandro Silva (unanimous decision), Akbarh Arreola (unanimous decision), Norman Parke (split decision) and Chad Laprise (TKO punches).

With this fight addition, UFC Fight Night 81 now looks like this.
